Have you ever thought about our rapid journey through this world and how the journey involves a mixture of reality and pretense Shakespeare even pegged it with “All the world’s a stage and all the men and women merely players”. At times we live more in one of the areas than in the other. For example at Christmas we tend to go into the world of pleasant memories, but while driving on the interstate we tend to keep strictly in the world of reality.
Now think about trying to present the gospel story from a world concept of millions of years. It cannot be done. The story of the gospel must be true and comes out of that book called the Bible that we proclaim is true history given to us by God the Holy Spirit. Suppose I insisted the attack on Pearl Harbor December 7, 1941 was millions of years ago. I would belong on the funny farm and nobody would listen to anything else I said. I would be proclaiming there were millions of years where there were none. This is what the church is doing and doesn’t realize the magnitude of the error.
The gospel story demands that the history of the first man Adam was a reality and the cause and origin of sin. Sin is a reality and a major part of the gospel message and entered the world through Adam’s disobedience. We know how many generations there were from Adam to Christ, because the Bible tells us, and in reality there were not enough for even 10,000 years. So throw in millions of years and you wreck the Bible story. This is so simple Satan blinds us to have eyes to see and ears to hear and reason to comprehend its importance. We must stop being silent as the secular world teaches little children and young people that the world is millions of years old. We must pray the clergy will abandon theistic evolutionary thinking and come back to the reality of what is written by the Holy Spirit and then defend it. Compromising the Holy Spirit’s message has been the greatest error of the past 200 years and largely continues until today. I know the church is unaware of the importance of the subject because of the silence from the church.
It makes a great deal of difference whether you accept theistic evolution and the ‘millions of years’ scenario. The Gospel of theistic evolution is another Gospel and inadequate in presenting the Gospel and obviously mostly ineffective. The Holy Spirit demands and requires us to accept what He has written. There is a major flaw in the compromised theistic evolutionary Gospel story. The necessary true history of the Bible record is not accepted and thus a flawed presentation of the Gospel is the result.
Can most Christians and Christian clergy be cowards? Are they afraid to defend what the Holy Spirit has clearly written? Are they afraid to admit they have been conned by Satan and accepted his lie of millions of years. Are they afraid they will look foolish among deluded peers for seeing no importance in defending what the Holy Spirit has written? Where are some old time Bible believers? Where are some Christian soldiers to accept the Bible’s history as written and defend it?
Christian, is God trying to reveal Himself to you, but cannot get through your proud arrogance? Remember Christ says you are either for or against Him. Are you a party to telling little children and fellow Christians that there is no importance to millions of years? Have you ever heard of down on your knees repentance?
