The first chapter of Genesis holds its prominent position for obvious reasons. It is the foundation for all of the rest of the Bible. Without chapter one the rest of the Bible is not logical. Without chapter one the gospel makes no sense.
Remember evolution is Satan’s religion to try to make God’s account of his supernatural creation a lie. If God really created all things out of nothing and you believe it, you are immediately profoundly humbled. All other ancient religious books and religious systems, as well as all modern philosophies, begin, not with God, but with preexisting matter or energy in some form. Remember creation out of nothing is scientifically impossible but I believe God did it. The existence of time space and matter without a cause is also scientifically impossible.
To imagine time space and matter are eternal and had no first cause is scientifically impossible. We must choose to believe one of these two options to get a start, admitting that both options are scientifically impossible. We must not forget the scientific method requires observation and repeated experimentation of a process or event to establish a body of data from which conclusions can be drawn.
With the subject of origins, there can be no observation or experimentation. Origins are over with, done, it is a past event. We can either speculate (evolutionary theory) or accept God’s revelation. The subject of origins therefore is outside of science.
Evolution is a system of belief based on faith (a religion). Creation is a system of belief based on the revelation of God as given in the Bible written under the direction of the Holy Spirit. So what? Who cares? I do, and obviously so does God.
Hitler was an evolutionist and said so repeatedly. He was only speeding up and helping the evolutionary process by eliminating inferior people. All of the leaders of communist countries were and are evolutionists.
We must return to defending and believing all of scripture. We must stop teaching children they evolved from slime before the ship sinks. If evolution is true there are no absolutes and therefore no right or wrong.
