If the average Christian were asked to name the most powerful verse in the Bible he most likely would answer John 3:16. If he were asked to name the second most powerful verse in the Bible he might hesitate and think before answering. To me the answer has to be Genesis 1:1. In fact my choice may be in reverse order because God placed Genesis 1:1 before John 3:16. Perhaps God and Satan knew John 3:16 does not stand alone but requires Genesis 1:1 so they can stand together. Who is the only begotten Son that God gave? God tells us in scripture. He is the Creator in Genesis 1:1 and John 1. “All things were made by Him and without Him was not anything made that was made”. Only the Creator of life can correct what Adam did. “The Father and I are one”. “If you have seen me you have seen the Father”.
If Satan can render Genesis 1:1 to be doubted, then John 3:16 cannot stand alone. How could Satan do this? All Satan would have to do is proclaim there was no creation and that everything evolved without supernatural origin. Isn’t Satan clever?
John 3:16 is without meaning until God is defined and Son is defined as the omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent, eternal first cause of time space and matter. For God so loved the world that He gave Himself to die for the correction of Adam’s sin of disobedience. Nothing else or anyone else could do it because what we are talking about is supernatural.
Christian, do you think evolutionary thinking is important? Do you think the church needs to get rid of evolutionary thinking? Do we need to stop teaching it to children and young people? Do we need to stop ignoring evolutionary thinking and remain unable to see its importance? Do you think we need to decide where we stand? Could the Bible mean exactly what it clearly and simply says? Could there be no millions of years? Could God have spoken time, space, and matter into existence just as He says He did? Do you understand biological evolution is scientifically impossible? There is no means to naturally add information to the DNA.
Come on Christian, give up the millions of years, God tells us how many generations there were from Adam to Abraham and then how many generations there were from Abraham to Christ. Satan wants millions of years to hide what is scientifically impossible and cannot be observed or demonstrated. Biological evolutionary thinking is not science, it is Satan’s religion. Computers, airplanes, and automobiles evolve as man puts new information into their design and construction but biological things cannot evolve upward. They are made after their kind and the DNA controls the construction of their proteins. Man cannot begin to comprehend the design in the DNA, but it has always been there in the tiny nucleus of cells. The cell can copy it, but we humans with our foolish wisdom cannot even imagine copying it. “The invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen being understood by the things that are made even His eternal power and Godhead so that they (unbelievers) are without excuse”. Come let us reason together.
